Carly Whitmore, RN PhD CPMHN(c) is an Assistant Professor in the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and a Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
As the CAMH Chair in Mental Health Nursing Research, Dr. Whitmore leads an applied program of work focused on three thematic priorities: health system optimization, mental health promotion, and chronic condition and multimorbidity management. Her research examines how care is organized with particular attention to the often-unseen work required to deliver whole-person care.
Dr. Whitmore co-leads the Learning Health Hub, a pan-Canadian network of partners, providers, and leaders advancing the science and practice of learning health systems. Through the Hub, she works to advance how learning is conceptualized, measured, and strengthened across health systems.
