The Dean of U of T Nursing from 1999 to 2001, Dr. Gail Donner has served as the Executive Director of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, and as the Director of Nursing Education and Research at the Hospital for Sick Children. In 2010, the Canadian Nurses Association honoured her with its Jeanne Mance Award.
Dr. Donner is a co-investigator in the Nursing Health Services Research Unit at U of T Nursing and McMaster University. She consults in career development, health policy and nursing administration with Mary Wheeler, her partner in donnerwheeler Career Planning Consultants. As well, she is a faculty member in the Canadian College of Health Leaders’ Executive Training for Research Application program.
