A.J. Lopez is a transformational healthcare leader who’s passionate about optimizing the health of our communities. He believes in continuous quality improvement, equity, collaboration and innovation. A.J. has demonstrated success in several leadership roles in clinical operations management and leadership and professional practice in various sectors of healthcare. A.J. also has a clinical background as a critical care nurse. He possesses a Combined Master of Nursing and Master of Health Science degree from the University of Toronto. He’s an Adjunct Lecturer with the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders. A.J. also serves on the Board of Directors and its Quality Committee for a community health agency in Toronto. Currently, A.J. is Senior Director, Inpatient Rehab and Complex Continuing Care at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto.
