2017 Provostial Review

As part of the University of Toronto’s commitment to being “an internationally significant research university, with undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs of excellent quality,” the University conducts formal reviews of faculties, departments, and programs on a regular basis.

In 2017, the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing participated in the University of Toronto Quality Assurance Process (UTQAP) – a program developed and administered by the University (under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Universities Council on Quality Assurance) to measure the Faculty’s programs and strategic direction within the framework of the University and against international peer institutions. Through this review, our scholarship, research, and programs were compared to other leading Nursing programs.

This process involved conducting a self-study and an external review conducted by three external reviewers, which resulted in a findings report. See the documents below:
