Dr. Louise Rose
TD Nursing Professor in Critical Care Research, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
The TD Nursing Professorship in Critical Care Research (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre) was established by TD Bank Group to allow a nurse researcher to focus on research that will improve clinical outcomes for critical care patients.
Dr. Louise Rose, Associate Professor, was the inaugural holder of this distinguished professorship; her tenure ended in 2019. She is interested in the care and management of patients who require mechanical ventilation across the continuum of care – emergency department, intensive care unit, step-down facilities, long-term care facilities, and home. Her research influences policy and practice.
