Tara Bolden has undergraduate degrees from Queen’s University and the University of New Brunswick. She completed her Master of Nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Diploma with the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. After obtaining the Certificate in Leadership & Management from Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto she obtained the Certified Health Executive designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Tara has more than 16 years of comprehensive clinical and leadership experience, specializing her clinical work in Lung Transplantation and Respiratory medicine. As the Nurse Practitioner Lead at the University Health Network, Tara is well recognized for expertise in strategic planning, innovation and advanced practice. She has held various leadership positions both locally and nationally, and has authored and presented at a variety of international forums and invited speaking engagements. She holds cross-appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer with the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto, and is a Professor with the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness with the University of New Brunswick & Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced learning collaborative Nursing Program.
