Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream

Genevieve Armstrong is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, and PhD candidate in the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. Her doctoral research examines how access to tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis and treatment can be improved for migrants with precarious status in Canada through equitable TB policy and practice.

With a background in public health nursing and extensive experience in TB care, she has worked closely with migrant and Indigenous populations. She is passionate about community health nursing, health equity, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
