Join us for an engaging talk led by Dr. Denise Gastaldo (PhD), Associate Professor at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing. Dr. Gastaldo will be speaking about Changing Healthcare: The Contributions of Institutional Participatory Action Research.

Dr. Denise Gastaldo’s scholarship focuses on health equity and the social determinants of health. As a methodologist, she has advanced the field of critical qualitative health research internationally, with researchers in over 20 countries utilizing her methodological work. Over the past 25 years, she has built capacity for nursing research in Ibero-America, including preparing nurse-researchers to lead interdisciplinary studies to achieve health equity and transformative knowledge production for healthcare
