You’re invited to Bloomberg Nursing Rounds, a series of talks featuring our Faculty researchers sharing their work. Dr. Martine Puts, RN, PhD, will speak about “Caring for Older Adults with Cancer.”
Dr. Puts is an Associate Professor at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and also holds the Canada Research Chair in the Care of Frail Older Adults. She is particularly interested in evaluating comprehensive geriatric assessment and its usefulness in cancer management of older adults, and in developing online tools so that patients and their healthcare professionals can assess their functional capacity as they undergo cancer treatment. In 2018 she received the Paul Calabresi Award from the International Society of Geriatric Oncology for her work.
