6 July 2020

Bloomberg Nursing Assistant Professor Dr. Kristin Cleverley has been reappointed as the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Chair in Mental Health Nursing Research at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto for a 5-year term, effective July 1, 2020.

Holding the CAMH Chair in Mental Health Nursing Research since 2015, Dr. Cleverley has conducted world-leading research seeking to improve our understanding of the impact of transitioning from child and adolescent mental health services to adult mental health services on the mental health and psychosocial functioning of transitional-aged youth with mental illness and their caregivers. Her long-term goal is to transform these transitions by co-designing services with young people and their families to best meet their needs.

In addition to her role at Bloomberg Nursing, Dr. Cleverley is also Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, an Associate Member of the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto, a Clinician-Scientist in the Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and Assistant Editor for the Journal of the Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
