Bloomberg Nursing is tremendously proud to share Professor Sioban Nelson, and Adjunct Lecturers Lynn Nagle and Earl Nowgesic, have been named as Charter (founding) Fellows to the Canadian Academy of Nursing. They are amongst a cohort of twelve Charter Fellows, a group that will act as an advisory committee to the new Academy, helping build the structure of the academy and developing a rigorous and prestigious Fellowship program.
“These esteemed leaders are among the most accomplished nurses in our country and they will help us to shape the Academy and ensure it’s rigour and prestige in the decades ahead. Fellowship in the Academy signals distinguished careers in the clinical practice, education, administration, research and policy domains of nursing,” says Michael Villeneuve, Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Nurses Association and Bloomberg Nursing alum.
We are so proud of the depth and breadth of the leadership and unwavering commitment to the profession of Nursing our faculty members have demonstrated throughout the course of their careers, and are confident the Academy will benefit from the incredible wealth of knowledge and expertise these nurse leaders bring to the table.
