Dr. Jana Lok is a certified emergency nurse with extensive experience working in both community hospitals as well as with the Canadian Forces Health Services. She teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs, and is the co-lead for the simulation team. Dr. Lok’s clinical experience in emergency nursing has provided her with the knowledge to facilitate high-fidelity critical-care scenarios. She enjoys challenging her students and integrating real-life clinical examples into all aspects of learning.
Dr. Lok’s research interests are about nurses’ use of complementary therapies and nursing pedagogy, specifically clinical simulation.
