On the morning of January 28, 2013 the vice-chancellor of UFAC, Guida Aquino attended the opening of the fourth module of the course of post-graduation courses in Primary Health Care (CEAPS).
The course is the result of a partnership between the Department of Health (Sesacre), Bloomberg Nursing (Canada) and UFAC. The fourth module classes extended from now until Thursday and are being taught by Bloomberg Nursing senior lecturer and Director of Global Affairs, Freida Chavez, with simultaneous translation by Carlos Kantec.
According to Vice-Chancellor Guida Aquino, a postgraduate degree in Primary Health Care “aims to train professionals to be multipliers in different regions of the state, management and planning, leadership, clinical management and evidence-based practice measured their municipalities of origin.”
Postgraduate courses started in September 2012 and are scheduled to complete this April 2013. The participants are members of the multidisciplinary teams of the provincial and municipal health network. Professors from UFAC also participated in the course as tutors and guest speakers.
