“I encourage my students to think critically about existing practices of health care and to develop better ways to care for individuals who are vulnerable.”

Dr. Mohammed is a lecturer at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto and a postdoctoral fellow in The Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network. Theoretically, Dr. Mohammed locates his scholarship in the philosophical work of Michel Foucault. His research interests include palliative care, family caregiver supports, homecare, neoliberalism and health, and critical ethics at the end of life.
