Dr. Wright is an Assistant Professor at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. She is past-President and current President-Elect of the Canadian Association of Neonatal Nurses and a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at McMaster University Children’s Hospital. She has worked extensively with the Indigenous community and Indigenous-led organizations in the Hamilton area since 2013, on meeting the communities’ research goals on healthy parenting and early childhood development, including projects such as Healing the Hurt, a KT initiative with Indigenous mothers to complement practitioners’ self-study of culturally safe health care.
