Alumna Jerry Gerow (Certificate in Public Nursing 1947, Certificate in Public Health Nursing Advanced 1951) was one of our most recent supporters, establishing two awards to support nurse practitioner (NP) students. Gerow was a champion of the nurse practitioner role in Ontario, and was a founding member of the NPAO, then an interest group of the RNAO.
Gerow passed away in 2016, but her gifts have already begun to impact the lives of students in NP students.
