PhD student awarded CIHR postdoctoral fellowship

16 August 2011

Congratulations to Kimberley Widger, recipient of a postdoctoral fellowship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). She is in her final year of the PhD program at Bloomberg Nursing and is preparing to defend her thesis. The fellowship will support her work with professor Dr. Bonnie Stevens at the Hospital for Sick Children on a project titled, “Development of a knowledge translation strategy for enhancement of paediatric end-of-life pain management.”

CIHR fellowships provide support for highly qualified candidates to add to their clinical training experience by engaging in health research in Canada or abroad.
