Martine Puts appointed Director, Master of Nursing Program
The Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing is pleased to announce that Associate Professor Martine Puts has been appointed Director, Master of Nursing program, effective January 1, 2018.
Dr. Puts has been with Bloomberg Nursing since 2009. Her research interests include health, functioning and quality of life of older adults, frailty and geriatric assessment, and improving care for older adults with cancer (geriatric oncology). In 2017, Dr. Puts was awarded an impact grant from the Canadian Cancer Society for a four-year research study on older patients with cancer.
We would like to thank Assistant Professor Margaret Blastorah for her contributions and dedication to education in our Faculty throughout her nearly five years as Director of the MN program (2013-2017). She began her U of T teaching career as a stipend instructor for the MN program in 2009 and retired in December 2017.
