“The need for outstanding leaders to guide the nursing profession and the health care system has never been greater. Scholarship, in all its forms, is what meets this need and my goal is to contribute through teaching, research, and innovation in mentorship and leadership development.”

Dr. Margaret Blastorah’s research combines the areas of mentorship and leadership, with a particular focus on leadership development.  Her investigations have focused on the role of mentorship in development of nurse leaders, and the mechanisms through which mentorship influences leadership development.

At U of T Nursing, Dr. Blastorah will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
