Cathy Maser is an award-winning nurse practitioner in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children. At U of T Nursing, she teaches the nursing care of children and families, which she structures around the principles of family-centred care and developmental theory. As a clinical instructor, Maser has supported entry-year students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills while providing nursing care to children and families. She also teaches in the nurse practitioner – paediatrics master’s program.
At the Hospital for Sick Children, Maser is investigating sexual health, mental health and addiction treatments for adolescents.
