Program Transfers
MN students wishing to transfer between Clinical and Administrative Fields of Study may do so by speaking with either Dr. Lynn Nagle (Admin) or Dr. LaRon Nelson (Clinical).
MN students wishing to transfer from Clinical or Admin into the Nurse Practitioner (NP) program must do so via a formal application to the Office of Student Services (HSB, room 130). This application consists of: a new letter of intent, a new CV and two letters of reference (one academic, one professional) supporting your wish to transfer, and a clinical hours form indicating you have completed at least 3,900 clinical hours as an RN. Transfers for September 2011 must be received by February 1, 2011. Applications to transfer into the NP program are reviewed on a competitive basis and transfer approval is not guaranteed.
Please note that grades obtained in the foundation courses must be in the A range in order to be eligible to transfer.
