Where applications are required, they should be sent to the Chair, Awards Committee, Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, in care of Student Services, by the date indicated. OSOTF, OSOTF II, and OTSS awards are a class of awards offered through the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund. They are intended to assist students in financial need, which must be demonstrated by the completion of the OSOTF, OSOTF II, or OTSS financial form. Note: Fellowships and scholarships offered through the School of Graduate Studies have the additional eligibility requirement of a B+ average in the applicant's last two years of study. Not all awards are available every year.

Audrey’s Place Foundation Graduate Nursing Scholarships

To be awarded to four graduate students (Master & Nurse Practitioner) based on financial need. Academic merit may also be considered. Students are able to apply for funding for admission and subsequently in their second year.
These scholarships are designed to support students who would otherwise be unable to pursue graduate studies due to financial constraints. Each of four MN students will receive $10,400 to cover the full cost of tuition and supplies for one. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated leadership in the field and a passion for nursing and/or with an interest in treating women and children in under-served and developing countries around the world.

Glenn H. Carter Graduate Fellowships in Nursing

Entry or in-course student applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Masters students with at least three years full-time employment as an RN working at the bedside;
- Masters students in the Nurse Practitioner Program with at least three years full-time employment as an RN working at the bedside;
- Ph.D. students with at least five years full-time employment as an RN working at the bedside; and/or
- Candidates may be considered who do not meet the prerequisites above, but are deemed by the faculty to have the equivalent in education and directly related work experience.
Award Preferences:
In addition to the above prerequisites, preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated leadership/supervisory skills and critical thinking;
- Demonstrated interest in preventative healthcare including, but not limited to, diet, nutrition, exercise, and healthy living; and
- Demonstrated compassion for persons-in-need with particular reference to elderly, pediatrics, and veterans.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship
The Government of the Province of Ontario offers a number of Graduate Scholarships. Applicants must have a high level of academic achievement with first-class standing. Applications and related documents must be submitted in early fall for the subsequent academic year. Incoming graduate students submit applications directly, or through their undergraduate university.

Patricia Lyon Nursing Fellowship

Award(s) offered to full-time in the Master's degree or Doctoral program of the Graduate Department of Nursing Science whose studies are consistent with the goals of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (TRI) and/or will further the strategic directions of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. Academic merit will be considered. Preference will be given to employees of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. In the event where there are applications from both Master and Doctoral students, Master's student applications will be given preference over Doctoral student applications.

Rosalind Curtis Graduate Nursing Award

An annual award to a full-time student who is entering the final year of a Master of Nursing program or who has completed the course work in the Ph.D. program, or to a part-time student who has completed at least 50% of the program requirements. Recipients must meet the following Criteria:
- have a clinical interest in providing care to children with disabilities or complex medical needs,
- demonstrate strong potential for providing high quality, holistic, family-centred care to children and families as evidenced in his/her course work and clinical performance, and/or has work experience with children and volunteer activities, and
- have an interest in working with clients served by Bloorview MacMillan Centre after graduation.
