Candidates are accepted under the general regulations of the School of Graduate Studies . Meeting minimal requirements does not ensure admission.
- Applicants must hold the BScN degree of the University of Toronto or an equivalent degree. Applicants must have obtained at least a mid-B standing in the final year of undergraduate study and, in addition, must have obtained at least B standing in the next-to-final year.
- Applicants seeking admission to the Nurse Practitioner field must also have two years of clinical experience (placements as part of your BScN degree do not count).
- Applicants must have completed an introductory statistics course prior to submitting an application to the MN program.
We will no long assess courses prior to application.
For graduates of McMaster University's BScN program, we will consider successful completion of NURS 2R03 or HTH SCI 2S03 as an acceptable statistics pre-requisite for entry to the MN program. HTH SC1 3C04 (Research Methods and Critical Appraisal) is not an acceptable prerequisite course for the MN program.

All English Facility Requirements must be met at the time of application. If you do not meet the minimum requirements outlined in the above link, please make arrangements to write another English proficiency test and submit your results no later than the application deadline.
