National Nursing Week in Canada takes place May 12-18, 2014, which includes International Nurses Day, May 12, the birth date of Florence Nightingale.
Bloomberg Nursing celebrates National Nurses Week 2014 on May 13, 2014, with an evening dedicated to our research and nursing expertise. Our faculty researchers will put their knowledge and expertise on display with a poster exhibit during a reception, to be followed by a book signing by Sioban Nelson, Former Dean, and Maria Tassone.
The evening will close with a panel discussion on “Interprofessional Education and Collaboration in Practice: The Toronto Experience. Realities and Opportunities: Advancing Interprofessional Education and Practice Collaboration”. Our distinguished panelists include Interim Dean Linda McGillis Hall RN PhD FAAN FCAHS, Former Dean Sioban Nelson RN PhD FAAN FCAHS, Maria Tassone BScPT, MSc, Bonnie Fleming-Carroll RN(EC), MN, and Tracy Kitch RN MScN.
