Lambda Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau

The Faculty of Nursing sponsors the Lambda Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, an international nursing honour society. The purposes of this organization are to recognize academic excellence in nursing, to encourage research in nursing and to provide opportunity for communication among practitioners, educators and administrators.

Membership is open to current undergraduate students with high standing in their class; to those who have completed the BScN program with high standing upon graduation; to graduate students who have completed one half of the required courses at a level significantly higher than that required for graduation. Membership in this organization endorses the quality of your achievement to date, and in itself provides a respected reference.
