Faculty takes part in health care simulation expo
On December 1, 2011, SIM-One – the Ontario Simulation Network – presented its second annual Ontario Simulation Exposition, the province’s premier health care simulation event, of which Bloomberg Nursing was a participant. The expo is an educational event that celebrates the creativity and dedication of Ontario’s simulation community.
The theme of this year’s expo is one very much in line with one of Bloomberg Nursing’s main areas of focus: “Patient safety and simulation.” This theme was chosen due to the increasing importance given to patient care and safety in the health care sector, and showcased the role simulation can play in supporting this growing need.
Bloomberg Nursing hosted a booth and presented four posters at the expo, which also included presentations from patient care and safety leaders, exhibits and interactive activities.
