DESCRIPTION
This two-day, hands-on course is designed for experienced Critical Care health professionals as an opportunity to advance and challenge their clinical practice knowledge and keep “up-to-date” with rapidly evolving critical care competencies. The course will make full use of the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing’s Simulation Lab to bring you a variety of learning experiences and hands-on practice. The course aims to:
- Facilitate continuing competency in critical care nursing at an advanced level
- Enhance the uptake of new evidence based knowledge into practice
- Provide access to interdisciplinary experts in critical care
- Enhance critical thinking and decision making for complex clinical situations
- Facilitate nurses’ ability to articulate their practice and rationale for decision making

- This course is an integrated two-day program. One-day registrations are not available.
- Applicable taxes (13% HST) will be added to the registration fees.
- Refunds (less a $50 administration fee) are available if requested by April 13, 2012.
